9-Sept-2003:
Today is the last day the Sobig.F virus will spread. The virus spreading deactivates as of tomorrow. The virus will still be active in infected systems, but the mass e-mailing portion is deactivated.

There is a new nasty virus being spread via e-mail. The Blaster virus. Read here for more info. If you are running Windows, be sure to update your security fixes!
17-July-2003:
Cox has decided to institute port 25 blocking, this means that customers that use Cox Internet will be required to use cox mail servers for outgoing mail. You will need to configure the outgoing SMTP server in your mail program to use smtp.west.cox.net. We apologize for any inconvienence that cox has created.

We have updated out Mail server to the latest version (8.0).
We also updated our mail templates to the latest update (4.0), this might help people that have been getting "blank" messages. We also activated the new webmail interface for all domains.

Desktop Merchant 2.0 is well under development. New features include automatically adding new domains, ability to view usage and statistic information.
21-August-2002:
We have begun planning the feature enhancements for Desktop Merchant 2.0. This new version will allow administration of all aspect of hosting and e-commerce, and truely be a full backend management tool.

LiveStats reporting server upgraded to version 6.2.

We have upgraded our mail server to the latest updates. This should fix some problems that users have been experiencing with web messaging and attachments.
We have also upgrades our Live Stats web statistics program to version 6.0. This version provides much more useful and professional reports, and information. If you find that your account is not working the same, please contact our technical support staff at support@taetechnologies.com.

We have finished renumbering our network. We now have new IP addresses for all our machines and servers. This should not affect any of our customers, or our users. Everything went smooth, and perfect.
27-Aug-2001:
We have installed Deep Metrix Live Stats on our servers. This program will allow customers to login to a web page and pull live reports of who is currently on their web site and what they are looking at, as well as site usage and historical reports. While we are still testing and tuning this application, it will be included with our Premium package at no additional charge, and will be available with other package for a nominal fee. We have installed virus scanning on all domains currently hosted with us. We are in the process of testing and tuning this feature, and it is uncertain yet which packages it will be included with, and if there will be a charge for this service. If you have any questions, or wish to have this feature disabled for your domain, please contact support@taetechnologies.com.
24-Jul-2001:
We moved our servers to their new home. We now have redundant connectivity to many backbone providers including Sprint, Cable and Wireless, Broadwing, Electric Lightwave, UUNET, Global Crossing, and Qwest. Our backbone now consists of 5 OC-3s, and 3 DS3s, this is the equivalent to well over 400 T-1s. Our new state of the art facility has battery backups, as well as diesel generators to provide uninterrupted power.
