Acceptable Use Policy

Use of TAE Technologies service(s) constitutes your complete agreement to comply with all of our policies. You are expected to use our services with respect, courtesy, and responsibility, giving due regard to the rights of other users and our employees, representatives, and agents. You are expected to have a basic knowledge of how web publishing functions, the types of uses which are generally acceptable for the product in which you are using, and the types of uses which are to be avoided. Use common sense and good judgment with regards to what is considered acceptable use. When in doubt, you are expected to contact a representative of TAE Technologies for guidance and clarification.

This Acceptable Use Policy defines the actions that TAE Technologies considers to be abusive, and thus, strictly prohibited. The following is strictly prohibited:

The use of, display of, or presentation of in any form of any adult material, or adult content is strictly prohibited on our servers, networks, and storage devices. Adult material is considered, but not limited to, any content that is considered sexual by nature, contains nudity, sexual acts, is obscene in any form including but not limited to photographs and drawings.

It is a violation of this policy and strictly prohibited for any person to resell hosting services on our shared servers. Any site found redirecting domains via host header names to web sites, subdirectories, sub webs or any location other than the named default home page shall be in violation of the terms of this agreement and subject to termination without refund or recourse. It is expressly forbidden to resell our shared hosting services.

Customers are prohibited from transmitting on or through any of TAE Technologies services or networks, any material that is, in our sole discretion, unlawful, obscene, threatening, abusive, libelous, or hateful, or encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any local, state, national or international law.

TAE Technologies services may only be used for lawful purposes. Transmission, distribution, or storage of any information, data or material in violation of United States or state regulation or law, or by the common law, is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, material protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, or any other statute. TAE Technologies reserves the right to remove such illegal material from its servers.

Illegality in any form, including but not limited to activities such as unauthorized distribution or copying of copyrighted software, violation of U.S. export restrictions, harassment, fraud, trafficking in obscene material, drug dealing, and other illegal activities.

Customers may not attempt to circumvent user authentication or security of any host, network, or account ("cracking"). This includes, but is not limited to, accessing data not intended for the Customer, logging into a server or account the Customer is not expressly authorized to access, or probing the security of other networks (such as running a scan program or similar tool).

Customers may not attempt to interfere with service to any user, host, or network ("denial of service attacks"). This includes, but is not limited to, "flooding" of networks, deliberate attempts to overload a service, and attempts to "crash" a host.

Customers may not use any kind of program/script/command, or send messages of any kind, designed to interfere with another user's session, via any means, locally or by the Internet.

Users who violate systems or network security may incur criminal or civil liability. TAE Technologies will cooperate fully with investigations of violations of systems or network security at other sites, including cooperating with law enforcement authorities in the investigation of suspected criminal violations.

The provisions of this Policy are intended as guidelines and are not meant to be exhaustive. Generally, conduct that violates law, regulation, or the accepted normal acts of the Internet community, whether or not expressly mentioned in this Policy, is prohibited. TAE Technologies reserves the right at all times to prohibit activities that damage its commercial reputation and goodwill.

TAE Technologies servers may be used only for lawful purposes. Transmission, distribution or storage of any material in violation of any applicable law or regulation is prohibited. This includes, without limitation, material protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret or other intellectual property right used without proper authorization, and material that is obscene, defamatory, constitutes an illegal threat, or violates export control laws. Examples of non-acceptable content or links: "Pirated software", "Hackers programs or archives", "Warez Sites", "Irc Bots", "Mp3".

We will be the sole arbiters as to what constitutes a violation of this provision.

Violations of system or network security are prohibited, and may result in criminal and civil liability. Examples include, but are not limited to the following: Unauthorized access, use, probe, or scan of a systems security or authentication measures, data or traffic. Interference with service to any user, host or network including, without limitation, mail bombing, flooding, deliberate attempts to overload a system and broadcast attacks. Forging of any TCP-IP packet header or any part of the header information in an e-mail or a newsgroup posting.

It is a violation for anyone who, including but not limited to, employs posts, or programs, which consume excessive CPU time or storage space, permits the use of mail services, mail forwarding capabilities, POP accounts, or auto responders other than for their own account; or resale of access to services or scripts installed on our servers. It is an express violation of our policy for any person to resell hosting services on our shared servers.

No one shall post defamatory, scandalous, or private information about a person without their consent, intentionally inflicting emotional distress, or violating trademarks, copyrights, or other intellectual property rights.

Sending unsolicited mail messages, including, without limitation, commercial advertising and informational announcements, is explicitly prohibited. A user shall not use another site's mail server to relay mail without the express permission of the site.

It is contrary to TAE Technologies policy for customers to use our servers to effect or participate in any of the following activities:

To post to any Usenet or other newsgroup, forum, e-mail mailing list or other similar group or list articles which are off-topic according to the charter or other owner-published FAQ or description of the group or list;

To send unsolicited mass e-mailings;

To engage in any of the foregoing activities using the service of another provider, but channeling such activities through a TAE Technologies provided server, or using a TAE Technologies provided server as a mail drop for responses;

To falsify user information provided to TAE Technologies or to other users of the service in connection with use of a TAE Technologies service.

Consequences of Violation :

When TAE Technologies becomes aware of an alleged violation of its Acceptable Use Policy, TAE Technologies will initiate an investigation. During the investigation TAE Technologies may restrict Customer's access in order to prevent further possible unauthorized activity. Depending on the severity of the violation, TAE Technologies may, at its sole discretion, restrict, suspend, or terminate Customer's account and/or pursue other civil remedies. If such violation is a criminal offense, TAE Technologies will notify the appropriate law enforcement department of such violation.

TAE Technologies does not issue service credits for any outages incurred through service disablement resulting from Policy violations.

Modification:

TAE Technologies reserves the right to add, delete, or modify any provision of this Policy at any time without notice.
